
Students will be introduced to the foundations of yoga with variations offered to every body. The intention is for you to leave feeling energized and accomplished about what your body can do!
This is a fun upbeat class that blends functional movement and yoga asana together to improve joint mobility, strength, balance, and flexibility! Core integration, breath and yoga philosophy are always the foundation of every practice.

A Hatha-style practice of linking breath to movement in a flowing sequence, followed by a Restorative and Yin style slow down focusing on mobility and stretching through movement and long held poses. By slowing the pace down, we create opportunity to release tension, create space and opening in the body, and become aware of the subtle energy flow within us. All levels will benefit from this class! Beginners will have time to learn elements of a new practice and more advanced practioners can take their practice deeper into meditation, relaxation, and conscious movement.”

Join Erika for an opportunity to take a long pause and deep rest in your month in this yin and yoga nidra class. Rest in the calm and quiet of your breath to renew, restore and rekindle your own inner light during these winter days.
This class includes light movement, breathwork, restorative/yin yoga postures, and ends with a guided yoga nidra relaxation. We will start class with 4-5 yin yoga poses, and as your yin practice comes to a close, when tissues have softened and breath has slowed, you’re invited to create a small sanctuary of rest. Nestle into your mat. Wrap yourself in blankets, pillows, or an eye covering. Let yourself be held and deeply soften, and let stillness gather around you and in our final resting pose you will experience a guided yoga nidra.
Yoga nidra, similar to guided meditation, facilitates the deepest state of relaxation, it can allow for deep healing of chronic pain, stress, anxiety, and trauma.
Yoga Nidra is a place where effort dissolves and the benefits of your practice seep in slowly. No striving. No forcing. Just rest, and let yourself be met exactly where you are- rest, dream, and set renewed intention. This is a fantastic way to regularly maintain a healthy mind and body; reset with a calm and present mind.
